As part of your Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) program, you must undertake an 8-week research project in your chosen elective (specialization). This project provides an opportunity to apply your academic learning in an industry or technical environment. Below is a structured guide to successfully completing your project.
IoT & Embedded Systems: Smart grids, IoT-based home automation.
VLSI & Chip Design: Low-power CMOS circuits, FPGA-based system design.
Renewable Energy: Solar PV efficiency, power electronics for electric vehicles.
Structural Engineering: Earthquake-resistant buildings, advanced concrete materials.
Smart Cities & GIS: IoT in traffic management, digital twin for urban planning.
Environmental Engineering: Wastewater treatment, sustainable construction materials.
Your research can be:
Organization-Based: Case study on Tesla’s battery technology.
Industry-Based: Application of AI in predictive maintenance of mechanical systems.
Your project can include
Primary Data: Prototyping, simulations, lab testing, real-world experiments, surveys.
Secondary Data: Research papers, patents, technical reports, industry whitepapers.
Tools & Technologies: MATLAB, Python, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, TensorFlow, Arduino, Raspberry Pi.
